Spectre Day - 29th Mirrors (29th Feb)
This is the 'ghost day', which appears only during the Year of Souls. It is held to be a danger-ridden day when influences of insanity are close and bad luck is rife, and is the subject of many superstitions.

I've had this Spectre Day headcanon for Kiv for a loooooong time-- I only wish that I'd had time to finish the rest in time for the deadline, but I think the first part stands alone all right? ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ I was inspired by creepypastas about scary things little kids say sometimes-- Here are some examples: Click! //tho some are more humorous than creepy in this particular list lol

Nothing says you love your grandmother like offering to cut off a new young face for her, right? Right? (◕‿◕✿) In any case, although the Dui'suns dote on Kiv like he's their flesh and blood, sometimes they are unexpectedly, unpleasantly reminded that his biological parents were not so... normal, to put it nicely.

Anyway lotsa red because red's a lucky color in China, so I figure it might be so in Song-Lu too-- gotta combat the bad luck of Spectre Day, right?
